Thoughts: After I watched the Avatar: The Last Airbender series, I immediately watched this season. I don't know how to explain this but I got a little disappointed of the plot.Yes, I am aware of Avatar Aang and Fire Lord Zuko's mission of having the Republic City for all the equality of the world but the timeline that they started was so far. It's hard to adopt the kind of story of The Legend of Korra because of the advance technology (since it's been 70 years after Avatar Aang). Maybe it's just the matter of time that I should watch the series that's why I still have the Avatar: The Last Airbender feels. I got disappointed too that Avatar Aang has the least appearance of this show. I was hoping that Korra will always seek help to her previous Avatars like Avatar Aang did but she didn't. Well she did once, I think.

A little disappointment too with a little flashbacks after the 100 year war. I was hoping to have an episode about the lives of the original Team Avatar after 10 or 20 years. I just wanna take a look who's going to marry whom, how many children etc. but this series has too little scenes about the past.

Despite of those little disappointments, this show still shows great lessons for all like the previous season. This time, more family love and romantic love (though I didn't like it cause it looked like they were just playing around with their boyfriends. But anyway, they are teenagers, that happens lol). I love how Mako and Bolin loves each other so much. Brotherly love hurray! Also how Korra stick to her parents so much. I got to know how wonderful Tenzin's family is. It shows full of care and love for his family. Relationships of Tenzin, Kya and Bumi and Lin and Suyin are so surreal. Jealousy in the family always happen and they taught us how to deal with it. Tenzin's problem about succeeding his dad's legacy was a true pain for him too but I liked the way how Aang cared for him even in the Spirit World. I also love how the former Team Avatar appeared in the series. For example, Katara is still a kind person having a sharp tongue, Toph is still an ironic woman and sadistic and Prince Zuko, having awkward scenes. Too lonely, this series didn't talked much about Sokka's life. I wonder who married Sokka. I'm too happy that promises from the first series was shown here like Avatar Aang's promise to King Bumi to name his first son after Bumi's name and when Sokka praised Toph about her metal bending, Toph asked to always mention it. Fortunately, this series told the story of Wan, the first avatar and how it started. It has two episodes and is my favorite in the series. I also like how the villains was describe in this series. They actually wanted peace, equality and harmony to their home, it's the way they handle to do things were the problem. This series has no darkness at all to teach to viewers.

Korra's fight against Zaheer at the Book 3 episode "Venom of the Red Lotus"

Animation: 10/10 (can I give 11/10?)
Surely this series has an AWESOME animation but I think this series is not for children.Everything is so detailed especially during battle scenes. There are bloodshed during fights and brutal deaths. Anyway, my favorite is at Book 2, battle between Raava and Vaatu. I can't say anything to explain how best the animation of this series was. It's just AWESOME!

Soundtrack: 8/10
Most of the background music during battles are dramatic which is not making me hyped during battle scenes. Maybe a little thrilling sounds is better.

Overall: 8/10
I like Avatar: The Airbender more than this series but it doesn't mean that this show is not good. I'd still recommend this show to everyone. Maybe it's not just what I expected after watching the first series. I believe this became my opinion since I didn't read the comics after the 100 year war. But I am just giving my opinion as a viewer.
