Ikemen Sengoku: Nobunaga Oda Route Dramatic Ending Review

Developer: CYBIRD
Story Plot: You are living in the modern world as the Fashion Designer. One day, you were caught in a storm not knowing that it is actually a "wormhole" that will make you go back 500 years in the past, the Sengoku Period where wars are common. You will be meeting the warlords and became the chatelaine of the Lord of Azuchi, Nobunaga Oda.

Thoughts:

I immediately chose the route of Nobunaga Oda because it was voiced by the famous seiyuu (voice actor) Sugita Tomokazu. He also voiced Sakata Gintoki in the anime "Gintama" , Tarou Kabakura in "Wotaku no Koi wa Muzukashii" and Marlo from "Attack on Titan" . So I am very eager to know Nobunaga's story first as well as to hear Sugita-san's voice.

The story of Nabunaga is good. You will imagine his ruthless character as the Lord of Azuchi 500 years ago in Japan and by the time that he will fall for you, you will also notice character development. That's a good thing actually. In otome games, it is important to feel the development not only the story but also the character that you chose.

I prefer this route to be the last to be chosen (I guess) but still it's up to you.

Rating: (10/10)

Not only the story will make you flutter, but also the voice coming from Sugita and his lines.

------------------------------------------------

After finishing Nobunaga's route, I started Hideyoshi Totoyomi's Route. It's been months since I stopped playing Otome games. I was filled with a lot of Animes and BL Manga these past months and I just went back playing this a week ago. Right now, I am almost done with Nico Meier's Route Honey Ending so I might be posting another review from my otome game.

The Promised Neverland Anime Review

Title: Yakusoku no Neverland (The Promised Neverland)
Genre: Dark Fantasy, Science Fiction, Thriller
Written By: Kaiu Shirai
Synopsis: Set in the year 666 , Emma is an 11-year-old orphan living in Grace Field House, a small orphanage housing her and her 37 siblings. Life had never been better; with food that tasted gourmet, plush beds, snow-white uniforms, and the love of their "Mother" (the caretaker) Isabella, as well the litany of daily exams that Emma always aced with her two best friends Ray and Norman. The orphans are allowed to do whatever they please, except venture out of the compounds or the gate that connects the house to the outside world. On a fateful night, an orphan named Conny is sent away to be adopted, but Emma and Norman follow her after noticing that she had left her stuffed rabbit toy, Little Bunny, back at the house. Sneaking out, they find Conny dead and the truth of the existence of this supposed orphanage to be a farm where human children are raised as food for the Demons. Worse still, Isabella is in allegiance with the Demons, ripping away at everything the two ever thought they knew. Determined to break out of Grace Field House, Norman and Emma partner up with Ray to peel away at the façade of the farm and find a way to escape with all their other siblings. (Wikipedia)

(The Grace Field children and it's "mamas")

Thoughts:

The same with Banana Fish, I always saw this anime in the top 1 of the the top 10 anime list while it is still airing. Being cautious enough (I really got a cautious because of what happen to me with Banana Fish. Curiosity really kills a cat!), I watched this anime as soon as the last episode finished airing.

(One of the most thrilling scenes in TPN. Mamais starting to doubt Emma and Norman)

This anime is the same with Shingeki no Kyojin (Attack on Titan). This anime requires a lot of thinking with strategies to break out from the wall of Grace Field. The only thing that will make you very anxious is the main protagonists are only turning 12 years old. They are trying to absorb the fact that they are actually gonna die inside the Grace Field house. That idea alone is disturbing enough for me.

(The three main protagonists from left to right; Norman, Ray and Emma)

Recently, I read the manga and I am still amazed how these kids ranging from 6-12 years old were able to survive the land of the demons. A lot of plot twists are present in the story and of course more favorite character deaths (I feel so numb about this. Thank you Banana Fish and Attack on Titan.).

Animation: (10/10)

Clover Works did the anime adaptation and I would say that it is a good one! Nothing to discuss about bad animation.

Soundtrack: (10/10)

The opening anime theme "Touch off" was sung by UVERworld! The same band who sung the 4th opening theme of Boku no Hero Academia (My Hero Academia) "Odd Future" and Bleach's 2nd opening theme "D-Technolife". This band has made it's name by singing a lot of anime theme songs of the popular animes from before up until now.

The ending song was entitled "Zettai Zetsumei" sung by Cö shu Nie is also good. While the ending theme animation is presenting the small moments of the children inside the house, the song's melody is creepy enough to describe the anime plot.

(Each child from Grace Field House has a "tagging" on their necks)

Overall: (10/10)

Recommended to those people who likes to watch angst stories and strategic plots. Good for over 13 viewers only! Some scenes are really disturbing.

Now look at this cute little adorable Phil. I am really sure, he is the star of this story.
