Inuyashiki Anime Review

Synopsis: Inuyashiki Ichiro is an older, friendless man with an uncaring family. One fateful evening in a nearly empty public park, he is struck by an explosion of extraterrestrial origin, and his body is replaced by an incredibly powerful, but still outwardly human, mechanical body. He quickly realizes the extent of his body's powers, and after saving a homeless man being beaten by a pack of teenagers, he decides to dedicate himself to doing good, using his powers to heal those with incurable diseases and fight crime. However, a teenager who was with him at the time of the explosion, Shishigami Hiro, had the same fate as Ichiro, but unlike Inuyashiki, Shishigami becomes a psychopath who goes about using his newfound abilities to murder various people, from classmates that annoy him to innocent families, including young children, just for amusement. His acts of merciless cruelty bring him the attention of the police, who can do nothing to stop him. Hiro becomes the most wanted criminal in the country. Thoughts:

I discovered this anime hen I was casually scrolling on my facebook feed. I spotted a video in which a character is dsaying bang using with his fingers but then he could kill people without bullets. Truly interesting. Ever since, I listed this anime in my "to-watch" list. If we are talking about the plot of the anime adapattion, it was obvious that the ending is somewhat lacking (Maybe they have more chapters in the manga after the ending scene) but then a good way to end the anime series.

Animation: 10/10

CG is too mush and obvious however it is a good choice for studio MAPPA to use CG for this anime. It was way more interesting if you compare it to 2D animation.

Soundtrack: 9/10

This song "My Hero" by MAN WITH A MISSION actually made a big impact for the anime. With their unique type of music plus a good vocalist, it matches the anime so much. Another of their song became the second opening of Vinland Saga with was another lit song. Might listen more of their songs soon.

Overall: 10/10

Not recommended to 15 years old weebs because of some sensitive comtent of the anime. But as your fellow weeb, totally recommended to kill some time especially this quarantine season.
