Tanaka-kun wa Itsumo Kedaruge Anime Review

Title: Tanaka-kun wa Itsumo Kedaruge (Tanaka-kun is always listless)
Genre: Shounen, Comedy, School Life
Written by: Nozomi Uda
Synopsis: There is actually no story for this anime. It is simply telling how listless the Tanaka, the main character could be. That includes on how his best friend Ohta spoil him so much and how they socialize with people around them in school.

Thoughts: This anime is perfect after you finished watching a long series. Seriously. Tanaka-kun is one of the most adorable main character and I really love the uniqueness of him. He's the protagonist of the story but he's so lazy that is really indifferent to other main characters you know. This is a chill anime. No problems, no other types of negative emotions to give to the viewers, just something to laugh on.

I watched this series after watching Kimi no na wa, Koe no Katachi and two seasons of Nanatsu no Taizai. My emotions were too messed up so this anime made me laugh so much. It has 12 episodes so you can finish it in a day. Another good thing about this series, everything they tell here is true. You can relate to the characters of the story.

About the characters, I admire the positive attitude of most of the characters in the story especially Ohta. He is too positive towards Tanaka to the point that he spoils him so much. This is the reason I am shipping those two! (MY FUJOSHI SOUL). It will give you good mood in your entire watching session.

Animation/Art Style: 8/10
I love how Silver Link used pastel colors fot this anime adaptation. It looked so soft and positive anime but I can't help myself to notice some poor animation in some scenes. But that's okay actually, most of it is from the background.

Soundtrack: 9/10
Yup yup, In some scenes, you will be likely feel asleep because of the background music. Well Tanaka-kun is being listless so as well as the music, right? HAHAHA. That didn't make any sense. So what I am trying to say is, it matches the scene, always.

Overall: 10/10
Or course, a recommended one. You won't regret trying this anime. It's funny and relatable.
