Howl's moving Castle Movie Review

Title: Hauru no Ugoku Shiro (Howl's Moving Castle)

Upon returning home, she meets the Witch of the Waste, who transforms her into a ninety-year-old woman. Seeking to break the curse, Sophie leaves home and sets off through the countryside. She meets a living scarecrow, whom she calls "Turnip Head". He leads her to Howl's moving castle, where she enters without invitation. She subsequently meets Howl's young apprentice Markl, and a fire-demon named Calcifer, who is the source of the castle's magic as well as its overall movement. When Howl appears, Sophie announces that Calcifer has hired her as a cleaning lady.

(Sophie and Howl's Moving Castle)

Thoughts:
This my third Studio Ghibli movie that I watched. The first one is Spirited Away and the other is Princess Mononoke so I know how positive I am as I started watching this film. Studio Ghibli is one of the best anime production that has been watched and I am ashamed that I only started watching its movies this year. By watching the three movies, I will conclude that the movies of produced by Studio Ghibli are teaching the viewers the importance of love, life lessons and tightening friendship.

(Sophie and Howl's first meeting)

Animation/ Art Style: 11/10
This film was released around 90s and I am impressed how good the animation is. I can even compare it with Your Name of Makoto Shinkai. It has good background pictures and a good animation. This film stimulates more of your imagination with magic.

Soundtrack: 9/10

Overall: 11/10
A very recommended film to all types of people and ages. All Studio films are a good thing to watch.

Look how handsome Howl is ;----;

My first Fanfic!

I have been writing fanfiction stories ever since I am still a Tobikko (Hey!Say!JUMP fan) and publishing those stories in my Livejournal account. As time passes, I am deleting those stories that I made until there's nothing left in my account. After years, here I am again! There was a sudden flash flash of plot idea in my mind and I immediately wrote in in my notes. I told myself that I won't be posting this story until I made my chapter 5.

Yup! I was able to made a good story and made it until chapter 5 but haven't thought of a title Ikemen Sengoku of CYBIRD Ikemen Series. So might see some similarities from the game. This plot idea was actually based on the otome game

So here we go!

Note: Still working on editing of the other chapters ~

Ikemen Sengoku: Nobunaga Oda Route Dramatic Ending Review

Developer: CYBIRD
Story Plot: You are living in the modern world as the Fashion Designer. One day, you were caught in a storm not knowing that it is actually a "wormhole" that will make you go back 500 years in the past, the Sengoku Period where wars are common. You will be meeting the warlords and became the chatelaine of the Lord of Azuchi, Nobunaga Oda.

Thoughts:

I immediately chose the route of Nobunaga Oda because it was voiced by the famous seiyuu (voice actor) Sugita Tomokazu. He also voiced Sakata Gintoki in the anime "Gintama" , Tarou Kabakura in "Wotaku no Koi wa Muzukashii" and Marlo from "Attack on Titan" . So I am very eager to know Nobunaga's story first as well as to hear Sugita-san's voice.

The story of Nabunaga is good. You will imagine his ruthless character as the Lord of Azuchi 500 years ago in Japan and by the time that he will fall for you, you will also notice character development. That's a good thing actually. In otome games, it is important to feel the development not only the story but also the character that you chose.

I prefer this route to be the last to be chosen (I guess) but still it's up to you.

Rating: (10/10)

Not only the story will make you flutter, but also the voice coming from Sugita and his lines.

------------------------------------------------

After finishing Nobunaga's route, I started Hideyoshi Totoyomi's Route. It's been months since I stopped playing Otome games. I was filled with a lot of Animes and BL Manga these past months and I just went back playing this a week ago. Right now, I am almost done with Nico Meier's Route Honey Ending so I might be posting another review from my otome game.

The Promised Neverland Anime Review

Title: Yakusoku no Neverland (The Promised Neverland)
Genre: Dark Fantasy, Science Fiction, Thriller
Written By: Kaiu Shirai
Synopsis: Set in the year 666 , Emma is an 11-year-old orphan living in Grace Field House, a small orphanage housing her and her 37 siblings. Life had never been better; with food that tasted gourmet, plush beds, snow-white uniforms, and the love of their "Mother" (the caretaker) Isabella, as well the litany of daily exams that Emma always aced with her two best friends Ray and Norman. The orphans are allowed to do whatever they please, except venture out of the compounds or the gate that connects the house to the outside world. On a fateful night, an orphan named Conny is sent away to be adopted, but Emma and Norman follow her after noticing that she had left her stuffed rabbit toy, Little Bunny, back at the house. Sneaking out, they find Conny dead and the truth of the existence of this supposed orphanage to be a farm where human children are raised as food for the Demons. Worse still, Isabella is in allegiance with the Demons, ripping away at everything the two ever thought they knew. Determined to break out of Grace Field House, Norman and Emma partner up with Ray to peel away at the façade of the farm and find a way to escape with all their other siblings. (Wikipedia)

(The Grace Field children and it's "mamas")

Thoughts:

The same with Banana Fish, I always saw this anime in the top 1 of the the top 10 anime list while it is still airing. Being cautious enough (I really got a cautious because of what happen to me with Banana Fish. Curiosity really kills a cat!), I watched this anime as soon as the last episode finished airing.

(One of the most thrilling scenes in TPN. Mamais starting to doubt Emma and Norman)

This anime is the same with Shingeki no Kyojin (Attack on Titan). This anime requires a lot of thinking with strategies to break out from the wall of Grace Field. The only thing that will make you very anxious is the main protagonists are only turning 12 years old. They are trying to absorb the fact that they are actually gonna die inside the Grace Field house. That idea alone is disturbing enough for me.

(The three main protagonists from left to right; Norman, Ray and Emma)

Recently, I read the manga and I am still amazed how these kids ranging from 6-12 years old were able to survive the land of the demons. A lot of plot twists are present in the story and of course more favorite character deaths (I feel so numb about this. Thank you Banana Fish and Attack on Titan.).

Animation: (10/10)

Clover Works did the anime adaptation and I would say that it is a good one! Nothing to discuss about bad animation.

Soundtrack: (10/10)

The opening anime theme "Touch off" was sung by UVERworld! The same band who sung the 4th opening theme of Boku no Hero Academia (My Hero Academia) "Odd Future" and Bleach's 2nd opening theme "D-Technolife". This band has made it's name by singing a lot of anime theme songs of the popular animes from before up until now.

The ending song was entitled "Zettai Zetsumei" sung by Cö shu Nie is also good. While the ending theme animation is presenting the small moments of the children inside the house, the song's melody is creepy enough to describe the anime plot.

(Each child from Grace Field House has a "tagging" on their necks)

Overall: (10/10)

Recommended to those people who likes to watch angst stories and strategic plots. Good for over 13 viewers only! Some scenes are really disturbing.

Now look at this cute little adorable Phil. I am really sure, he is the star of this story.

Mob Psycho 100 Anime Review

Title: Mob Psycho 100
Genre: Action, Comedy, Supernatural
Written By: One
Synopsis: Kageyama Shigeo aka Mob is a powerful esper and wanted to live a normal life like the other kids. One day, he went to Reigen Arataka's , a self-proclaimed psychic, office to express himself and tell the truth about his power. Later, Mob was hired as Reigen's trainee on how to use his powers effectively and how to live his life normally.

Thoughts:
The first thing that I realized about his anime in the first minutes of watching the first episode is: "Is this animated by bones?" And hurray it was animated by bones! (should I make a list of animes animated by bones soon? with this I shall add a label "bones") If you were able to read my reviews about Boku no Hero Academia (oh haven't reviewed that yet! Kuso. I'll review it once the season 4 finished airing) and Noragami or other reviews, I am always hyped if the anime was animated by bones. I don't remember if I really mentioned it here but I am a fan of bones studio. Their animation is very superb. So, this anime have a hell of an animation. I assure you it is one of the animes that you must not miss.

One is the mangaka of One Punch Man so it's a little bit the same with story with the latter. Mob is a very powerful esper. And if I say very, It's most likely stronger than you think. Like Saitama in One Punch Man, Mob is wishing a normal thing.

The art is too unique as well. They looked like Saitama's eggfaced. As for the plot, the plot is the synopsis that I wrote above. That simple. The thing that you wouldn't want to miss is how powerful he is.

Animation: 11/10
I know I look like I am being biased but bones animation are the coolest thing you'll ever saw. Well, if it's Your Name and Garden of Words, it's a different story. Come to think of it, Ouran High School Host Club was animated by bones too. Hell I am just talking about bones here. I am so sorry.

Soundtrack: 10/10

The opening and ending songs of this anime is really something too. The hype will rise as you hear the opening song especially [99.9] by Mob Choir feat. sajou no hana in Season 2 opening song. I was really hyped while listening to it.

Overall: 10/10
I recommend this to you right now. Watch it right now. As in RIGHT NOW. You are missing so much if you haven't watched it.

Gintama 2: Rules are Made to be Broken Live-Action Movie Review

w/n: It's been a while. It's been two months since I last wrote a review here. I was really busy doing school stuff and reading BL Mangas for my recommendation list. Plus, I added some animes to watch and my Johnny's WEST fandom made me busy as well. That is why I really got no time to open my blog to update (ugh it sucks to have a loooot of fandom to flail of). Since summer has begun, I will be here most of the time giving comments on the anime I've watched and mangas I've read during my hiatus.

Right now, I am re-watching Proposal Daisakusen in which it was aired in 2007 leading by Yamashita Tomohisa as the protagonist. I am playing a mobile games as well, Attack on Titan:Assault and Pokemon Go. I've read a loooot of BL Mangas and recently I finished "Killing Stalking" by Koogi in two nights only <3. Recently, I finished Mob Psycho 100 and watching Gyakuten Saiban. Sooooo expect a lot for the coming days!

I've been waiting for Gintama 2 movie to be released so this will be the first thing to review!

Title: Gintama 2: Rules are Made to be Broken
GenreChanbara, Comedy, Science Fiction
Based on/Written By: Hideaki Sorachi
Synopsis: Twenty years ago, Edo-period Japan suffered a great cultural shock—the aliens called Amanto invaded the Earth, overpowered the nation's government, and outlawed the carrying of swords by the once proud samurai. Moreover, the aliens took the people's jobs and are currently running Japan as a sweatshop using the natives as laborers. In this strange new era are Gintoki Sakata, an eccentric samurai whose personal trademarks are his naturally permed silver hair, his love of anything sweet, and his addiction to Shonen JumpShinpachi Shimura, the teenaged heir of the Kakido-Ryu style; and Kagura, an incredibly strong alien girl from the powerful Yato clan. The trio are self-employed in an odd jobs shop called Yoruzuya Gin-chan, which offers to do almost anything for a price, from finding lost kittens to saving the world. Unfortunately, the jobs rarely go as planned, or pay enough to cover the pain and suffering the employees encounter—never mind their rent.

Thoughts

PERFECT.

If I am going to explain the live-action movie of Gintama. I would tell you it's perfect. In my previous review about Gintama's first live-action movie, I said that the movie won't be recommended to those who haven't watched the anime or read the manga but with the second movie, it will be okay! Though it is really better to read the manga or watch the anime. The only thing that you will miss if you are not an anime watcher, is how deep the relationship of the characters with Gintoki. You won't be able to understand the scenes thoroughly. You will be able to understand the flow of the story but the emotions that was felt in every scene will be different if you compare it with the manga readers and anime watchers.

(Pachi and Ginko working in a cabaret)

Honestly, I finally tag this movie as my best live-action movie I ever watched. Before this, it was Fullmetal Alchemist. This live-action is literally what the viewers are looking for. From the actors that delivered the characters' personality up until the BGM, comedy, parodies and setting. Everything was from the anime (still can't compare it with the manga cause I haven't read it. It's too looooong~) I even re-watched the arcs to prove it to myself, though some scenes from the anime was not shown in the movie cause it's 100% dirty jokes. Maybe the producers wanted it to be a family-friendly movie. Other than that, I have nothing to judge. This movie is so perfect!

(comparison of a scene from Shisengumi Crisis arc)

Cinematography: 10/10

The movie is really well-made! Expect the best sword fight scenes (oh it came out so wrong. I feel so bad. This is because I read a lot of BL Mangas ;-;) and the sadistic fight of Okita Sougo will be seen! OkiKagu will be present as well! (hurray to us shippers!) Yay! The CG scenes are perfect as well, honestly, it is better than the first movie.

(Okita and Kagura vs. Shisengumi)

I didn't show a lot of fight scenes cause it'll spoil the hype.

Soundtrack: 10/10

This movie actually used the OSTs of the Gintama anime! I can't say anything more! They did what is right.

Overall: 11/10

PERFECTLY PERFECT <3
